Yes, it means the packaging won't look so aseptic and clinically clean any longer, and it does mean that it won't last long left outside in this humidity and temperature.
𝗕𝗨𝗧 it means that 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 from another piece of plastic.
𝗘𝗹𝗸𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗷𝗶𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.
The 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 is another 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.
It's a bunker being converted for specifically for biltong drying, designed and equipped to be 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁.
In the next phase the room becomes completely 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱...
𝗡𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 as every millilitre extracted during the drying process will be used to 𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘃𝗲𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻.The room will be equipped with a 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝗰𝗮𝗺 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝟮𝟰/𝟳. Should be quite romantic when the 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗩 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 are on.
